Social networking company, Facebook has been hold discussions with the acquisition of Twitter, the company’s micro-blogging. Negotiations put a value of $ 500 million to Twitter, which has become one of large Silicon Valley companies. Speech is first reported in the AllThingsD blog, which directly confirmed by both parties.

Facebook offers payment for acquisition in-stock. Compare with value of purchace worth $ 15 billion offered by Microsoft Corp. to buy Facebook last year, the value of purchases from Facebook to Twitter still be quite small.

According to the Facebook, bidding for $ 15 billion for Facebook from Microsoft is the top range of value that had discussed by Facebook government. Facebook also admitted acquisition discussion of Twitter is in a lower level than discusion with Microsoft last year.
Twitter co-founder, Biz Stone would not comment on the acquisition talk, but Twitter want to be independent to build messaging service. According to the Reuter report, Facebook and Twitter can not deal immediately about the acquisition.
