According to MessageLabs, virus writers are likely to increase the tension of the malware in the next year in order to accelerate business botnet from the year 2008. MessageLabs predicted that hackers will release a new malware attack, such as virtualization layer that runs directly on the hardware and will not be found by the operating system.

Introducing, Kontron Advanced Mezzanine Card (AMC, or PICMG AdvancedMC) Modules and Advanced Telecom Computing Architecture Boards (ATCA).

AMC (AdvancedMC) is the PCI Industrial Computer Manufacturers Group’s specification (PICMG AMC.0, AMC.1, AMC.2, AMC.3 and AMC.4 respectively) for hot-swappable FRUs (field replaceable units) and field-replaceable mezzanine cards, enabling them to be replaced individually in the field. It is more attractive by enhancing its scalability, flexibility, and upgradeability. The manufacturer of electronic products from Japan, Sony Electronics, has won a patent from the European Commission to buy ownership rights from music recording company, Sony BMG. Sony has agreed to buy the shares Bertelsmann, a unit of Sony BMG, around 50 percent in a joint venture worth 900 million USD. Sony said that Bertelsmann will also get cash $300 million from financial Sony BMG, with total deal about USD 1.2 billion.
Sony, which has joined with Sony BMG, estimated the company will become the second largest new music after Vivendi, Unit Universal, with the name of Sony Music Entertainment Inc. (SMEI), all rights of ownership will be held by Sony Corporation of America. more…

Joomla application is often used as a content management system at various sites, which are known to have enough critical vaunerability. Government sites especially, need to be cautious of this vulnerability.

The bug that allows irresponsible parties access the site administrator based Joomla. Not only access, the administrator password that is used can be changed.
And so, information on how to exploit this weakness has been spread on the internet. McAfee Inc. antivirus, anti-virus software vendor, says that companies have the address listed on the website seems to have undergone security crisis when a company as owner of an address registered in a particular domain. McAfee found that there are some domains that are considered dangerous to navigation users, such as, “.hk” (Hong Kong), “.cn” (China), and “.info” (information). more…
