Wikia Search engine was created of Wikia Inc. Commercial profit company Wikia Inc. is a company that works separately with Wikipedia Inc., the company that created non-profit Wikipedia, but established by the same person, Jimmy Wales. Wikia Search has been providing facilities to anyone who wants to use as add, delete, and rating the Web page. During the period in the beginning of the launch of the alpha version of January ago, Wikia Search has been enthralling visitors as much as 20,000 users have signed up, which has created around 25,000 mini articles.

However, whether the user is registered or not, does not have right to modify content of Wikia Search Index, which can be used to measure rating the quality of web. For users, only have right to edit the content of a URL (Uniform Resource Locator URL), both modifications to the headline or details. When surfing to websites that are secure, different domain has different security. McAfee Inc. antivirus, anti-virus software vendor, says that companies have the address listed on the website seems to have undergone security crisis when a company as owner of an address registered in a particular domain. McAfee found that there are some domains that are considered dangerous to navigation users, such as, “.hk” (Hong Kong), “.cn” (China), and “.info” (information). more…
